This charming 1920 Ford Model T pick-up truck was manufactured in France, with its bodywork by coachbuilders E Cordier and A Besnard of Paris. By 1922 it had come to the UK, where it was registered in January 1922 and subsequently used as a livestock truck around Andover, Hampshire. It's believed that it was commandeered during World War Two although there's no documentary evidence supporting this. The present owner had a new canvas hood made plus the body painted, with the artwork done by a tattooist. Everything else is believed to be original. It has been regularly maintained by the owner who tells us that ‘it runs well for a 105-year-old’. Three registered keepers are shown on the V5C, there's no MoT but as an historic vehicle, the Model T no longer requires one.   Paperwork includes the current V5C, the buff logbook (and copies), some old tax discs, and 1980s' letter from the DVLC regarding vehicle registration.
