1966 TRIUMPH T20B SUPER CUB - £2,795

Triumph had been owned by BSA since the early 1950’s and gradually started to share components on their models to save on manufacturing costs. As such the some of the Tiger Cub production was moved from the Triumph factory in Meriden ( Coventry ) up the road to the the BSA factory in Small Heath Birmingham in 1966. Thus the T120B ‘Bantam Cub’ was born utilising the 200cc Triumph Tiger Cub engine in the Bantam D7 and later D10 frames creating the best of both worlds, the powerful Cub engine and the stronger long wheel base Bantam frame. This fine example registered 1966 and is one of only about 2,500 built. Comprehensively restored in 2016 it comes with a history file detailing some of the work which included an engine rebuilt. Still on 6v points ignition it remains in good running order and in very nice overall condition. This matching numbers bike showing 6742 miles is also supplied with a workshop manual and parts book.
