1947 MG TC EX POLICE - £28,500
Matching Numbers. Documented ex-police car, (bought new for East Riding Constabulary). Extensive history files. All the right mods carried out. Engine rebuilt a few years back with new, (club supplied) solid billet stainless steel crank. Carbs overhauled, E10 proofed, Superdry glands & stay up floats. Phosphor-bronze master cylinder & front wheel cylinders, (silicon fluid). Recent solid state fuel pump. Steering box mod, EN24HT half-shafts with lip seal mod, new rear wheel bearings. Stub axles modified, (as per Mike Sherrell). Derby Plating re-chromed the radiator cowling ,(£eek - very expensive). Stainless steel exhaust system. Full tonneau. Some spares. A well-known car and very useable, (toured France Summer 2023). One of the best examples out there and worth viewing. I'd prefer for her to go to an enthusiast - she deserves it. Lack of space forces this reluctant sale.
