1974 MG MIDGET RWA - £1,250
Ideal for someone’s first project. Was originally restored and resprayed in Purple Velvet. Taken off road due to minor damage and left under cover on the drive for over 20 years. 1275cc engine bored out to 1340cc with a Kent Road rally cam fitted. Changed to 1 ¾ su carburettor single with K&N filter. Restored Triumph Vitesse gearbox with overdrive fitted. Vehicle only driven 5-6000 miles before taken off road. During last couple of years the front wings, doors and all the front suspension have been removed and sand blasted. Some parts professionally restored as new – distributor, starter motor and alternator. It has a hard top in need of minor restoration, a new soft top, anti-roll bar, Numerous other items: 3 steering wheels (2 leather, 1 wood) in excellent condition, various radios, cylinder heads, crank shafts, pistons. Original twin SU carburettor and MG air filters, anti theft steering lock, anti theft wheel lock. Haynes workshop manual, Midget restoration manual and parts catalogue etc. Price ono.
