The car has plenty of documented history prior to my ownership that details a base engine rebuild by Moss (8,000 miles), fitted with a Peter May Engineering gas flowed cylinder head (unleaded), and fast road cam with Moss roller rockers, updated chain & tubular push rods. The carbs are twin 1.5 inch SU with AAL needles, the exhaust is 4-2-1, ignition electronic with flamethrower coil. Ancillaries include; Kenlow electric fan, new fuel pump & alternator (both replaced by myself) and oil catcher tank. The documentation also reveals that the clutch has been replaced, the gearbox rebuilt and a new propshaft fitted. The vehicle suspension has had a major upgrade. At the front there has been a Frontline conversion with adjustable shock absorbers, and updated anti-roll bar. At the rear there are again adjustable shock absorbers plus a Frontline panhard rod and anti tramp bar. Brake cylinders and pipes have been replaced, front drilled discs, rear Delphi drums and shoes. New steering track rod ends have also been fitted. The car comes with a full set of new road tyres plus a set of Yokohama Advan A048 medium compound tyres on Minator alloys . The interior is fitted with a Motorlita steering wheel, MGF Alcantara seats, inertia seat belts plus Luke harness, fire extinguisher, battery isolator and a MGOC roll bar. The bodywork is in good condition with no obvious signs of any rust, the bonnet is lightweight fiberglass. Everything is finished in a glorious pageant blue. This is an ideal starter track car, the MGs-On-Track folk (https://www.mgs-on-track.com/) have a great series of track days are easy to be part of. A reluctant sale – have had my fun now need to pass it on.
