Originally exported to the USA in August 1957, the car remained overseas until 2013, when it was imported back to the UK. The first UK keeper then undertook a full chassis-up restoration, completed in 2019. As part of the rebuild, the car was converted to right-hand drive and refinished in its rare, factory-correct black exterior. During its final build-up in 2019, the odometer was reset. The car has covered just 6,630 miles since. The MGA presents beautifully throughout, finished in black with vibrant red interior trim and a black vinyl hood—a combination true to the period and highly sought after today.
