Sadly, it is time for me to sell my old, much loved Landy. I have owned this car for the last 14 years and have enjoyed it enormously. I have maintained it well, keeping it under cover for much of the time. I am an elderly lady, not into mechanics any more, so most of the mechanical work needing doing since I bought it has been carried out by professionals. Although tax and MOT exempt, I have had it tested evey year. I have much of the history from 1999, when it belonged to a work colleague. The car is pretty well untouched, in virtually original condition. It does run on unleaded fuel. It starts and runs really well. The steering is not too 'swimmy' and I have used the car regularly. You will see in the photos that I have replaced the drivers side door top, but have never got around to painting it. I usually take the top off in the summer and I have a half door for the back (see photo). The roof has an unusual feature with what looks like a hatch cut into it. I imagine that this might have been able to be opened at one time but it is sealed shut now. I do have various spare parts that I have collected over the years that can go with this car. I keep the spare wheel in the back of the car as I find it too bulky to have on the bonnet, but all the fixings are in place on the bonnet. There are a coupl;e of small dents and scratches. You can see one in the photo of the front wing on the drivers side. In that photo you can also see where I had some welding done, just below the windscreen. This lovely old car would make a great project for restoration or can just go on being enjoyed as it is now, as a good, reliable, tough runner.
