1973 LAND ROVER RANGE ROVER CLASSIC - £12,000
Classic 1973 Rover Range Rover 3.5L V8, owned since 2018, underwent extensive restoration from rusty shell. Exhibited at NEC Classic Car Restoration Show 2019 and 2025 (driven to 2025 show - first time on road since 1995). Engine starts easily (manual choke, V8 sound). Drives well (overdrive), noisy gearbox (1st, 2nd, 3rd). Extensive rust repairs: sills, inner wings, arches, crossmember. Chassis cleaned/painted. New suspension, shocks, bushes, bearings, brakes, lines, cylinders, clutch, exhaust, fuel tank/lines. New coolant/brake hoses, front swivels, steering joints, headlights, radiator, starter, fan, battery, ignition. Rebuilt Stromberg carbs. Rebuilt engine (2010, low use). New headlining, door cards. Sourced rare parts (key, cap, mirrors, etc.). Added 12v/USB. New upper, non-rusty lower tailgate. Imperfect body/paint, cracked rubbers, noisy LT95 gearbox (lower gears), non-Rostyle wheels (Rostyle rims included). Selling due to other projects. Digital history file, Heritage certificate, handbook, Rostyle rims, overdrive sticker included.
