DESCRIPTION When Ford unveiled the original Fiesta in 1976, it was their first modern front-wheel-drive supermini compact, economical, and agile. The Mk1 was an instant success, but by 1983 Ford introduced the Mk2, refining the winning formula with sharper styling, improved aerodynamics, and a more comfortable, better-equipped cabin. At the top of the range sat the Ghia, a name long associated with Ford’s most luxurious trim levels.
