The second generation of MG's Midget (1964-66) is by far the rarest The Mk II featured a 59bhp 1,098cc engine, a more comfortable cockpit, wind-up windows, swivelling quarter-lights, better instrumentation, lockable doors and the option of wire wheels This 1965 example wears recently restored bodywork in red, white wire wheels and a twin-bar roll-hoop Smart interior in light grey and Burgundy with padded door cards, new carpet and a 3-spoke steering wheel Much recent expenditure for the current MOT including a rebuilt transmission and many new parts including battery, ignition coil, alternator, choke cable, fuel gauge, carburettor jets, pistons, sparks, exhaust, door locks, headlights, windscreen washers, wing mirrors and petrol cap Supplied with its V5C, MOT until November issued with 'No Advisories' and three sets of keys.
