Finished in Old English White with Black trim (same as when new) and Black Mohair hood, A lovely colour combination that highlights the perfect lines of this E-type. Subtle differences to the original S1 cars being highlighted by the open headlamps and rear light configuration for the US market, it sits on Chrome wire wheels and Dunlop SP Sport tyres. The engine barks through a stainless steel exhaust system, which sounds fantastic. The gearbox is a Jaguar 4 speed. Dry stored for many years with only having done 50k miles, the engine was rebuilt by a specialist and sold as a project in 2011. For the following next 8 years the car went through a thorough restoration in which there are a history file full with invoices from this time. A photographic record has also been kept during the restoration and shows the thorough work done to the body and mechanical parts. In 2022, the gentleman who oversaw the majority of work sadly passed away but left a beautiful example of a S2 E-type to be enjoyed and looked after by future owners.
