Reducing my collection of American cars so offering my fabulous Impala from 1960. One family owner in the USA from new and personally imported by myself about six years ago, from Oregon. All totally restored in early 2000s and correctly used and stored since then. When I purchased the car I had a full independent engineers report commissioned and the result was very favourable. Please note: this was a total restoration and featured many new parts including fuel tank etc. New correct houndstooth interior. Before I imported the car I had air conditioning fitted in the states, and this works beautifully (vintage air). It's a 283 V8 with two speed powerglide and power steering (no power brakes but the drums work well). I have won several best of shows with this car. I have the original invoice for the car from 1960 showing the purchase price of 3000 dollars including the "extras". The car is correctly UK registered and I have the V5 in my name. Please note: the car is here with me in France and is part of my collection here. Most of the photos were recently taken here in France but there are a couple of when I purchased the car in the USA (Oregon). It can be viewed and picked up from ours here in France (Bordeaux) area or I can for the asking price arrange delivery to the UK by a professional transporter company. A truly stunning car and very rare in Europe and even in the USA. You could not buy this car in the USA (in this truly superb condition), ship it to Europe, pay the taxes and fit air conditioning for the price I am asking.
