The FW14-B Junior is an official Williams Formula One product, limited to just 25 examples, which represents a 75% scale re-incarnation of the legendary FW14-B F1 car in which Nigel Mansell took his first Formula 1 World Drivers' Championship. This meticulously engineered children's car was developed using 3D scans of the original grand-prix winning FW14-B race car and features a bespoke carbon-fibre weave bodyshell with a hand-painted yellow, blue and white 'Red5' livery. Underneath sits a unique monocoque chassis complete with front and rear suspension that mimics full-scale single-seater technology. Inside, the cabin features a Securon harness, a black leather-trimmed Mota Lita steering wheel signed by Nigel Mansell, black synthetic suede-trimmed side panelling and headrest, and a perspex wrap-around aeroscreen. Power comes from a 230cc petrol engine, while braking is achieved by a hydraulic single piston set-up. It rides on a staggered set of 10-inch front and 12-inch rear wheels fitted with specially manufactured slick tyres designed to run from cold with no warming blankets. The 75% scale car measures 3.05 metres long, 0.75 metres tall and 1.6 metres wide, with a wheelbase of 2.1 metres. The car weighs approximately 250kg, including the driver.
