The 1303 S was a modernised version of the Volkswagen Beetle, introduced in August 1972. Improvements included an increased front boot capacity, curved windscreen, MacPherson strut front suspension and, in the case of the S model (as here), a 1.6-litre engine giving 50bhp. This early example was registered in November 1972 and has had just one registered keeper since then; an engineer who carried out most of the servicing and repairs, although some early stamps are in the service book. The VW hasn't been used for around eight years and so isn't running; it will require recommissioning and repair work to return to the road. The last MoT expired in December 2008 after being tested the year before at an indicated 12,492 miles. The current odometer reading is 13,033 miles. The  paperwork file includes the original bill of sale for £1127.27p, some V5 registration documents, all MoTs from 1980 to 2017, the original user handbook, original service book, Blaupunkt radio user guide and spare keys.      Not specified
