Introduced to the UK in November 1958, Volvo's highly successful 120-series 'Amazon' was built around a steel-fabricated monocoque. Equipped with independent coil and wishbone front suspension and a Panhard rod located rear axle, it quickly acquired a reputation for toughness, longevity, and reliability. Powered by a choice of torquey four-cylinder engines, the 'Amazon' proved a formidable competitor on both rally stages and racetracks alike.

This example was originally registered on 1st October 1966 and has had two former keepers from new. Having covered a mere 17,150 miles this is a very original example indeed and is presented in very good order throughout. The paintwork is excellent, and the interior and engine bay present very well. Offered with a history file detailing various maintenance work, sundry bills, photos and the current UK registration document. Offered from a private collection this Volvo Amazon has been maintained where necessary and is reported to run and drive as it should by the current owner and is an opportunity not to be missed. Consigned by Daniel Godin
