An early fuel tank was fitted together with the early indicators and rear lights accompanied with the corresponding chrome bumpers etc. New suspension with narrowed front beam and uprated front ARB. Porsche 6x16 Fuch alloy wheels complete the exterior look. The interior uses Porsche ‘tombstone’ front seats with the rear seats trimmed to match The special Chrome handbrake lever and SCAT shifter complete the look. The engine was rebuilt in 2020 with new oil cooler, alternator etc supplied and fitted by SW Classic VWs. Believed to be 1600cc. The 12v alternator supplies the Ultralite instruments with power and a radio is secreted in the glovebox. In 2023 the front floorpans were replaced and the under body retreated with coloured rubberised gravel protection professionally by Creative Coachworks A large history/receipt file comes with the car and its was MoT tested last March and has been in storage since.
