1972 VOLKSWAGEN CAMPERVAN T2 - £20,000
1972 Volkswagen campervan T2. Fully restored in 2013, but never used only taken for a run occasionally. The rest of the time it has been sat in a garage. I spent just over 15K on the restoration (not including labour) which includes all those awkward panels like the rear quarters, rear wheels arches, floor and many other panels plus everything in the engine was new. Professionally upholstered and professionally sprayed. It has gas rings, grill, sink with water pump and a 3 way fridge all all built into bespoke cabinets. The bed is a full size rock and roll type. It’s time to let someone enjoy it, I have been told it’s worth over 25K, but as there are a couple of small areas which require painting (nothing serious) and the engine is hard to start when hot and will need a service. The engine is 1600cc and only covered 1259 miles since 2013, but I am not 100% happy with it. Taking into account all the above I am only asking for offers over 20K. Any viewing, inspection welcome.
