Rare LWB Volksrod Buggy in excellent condition, correctly registered as a Volkswagen Convertible, in metallic Silver with Black bonnet stripes. Space for 4 people. Upgraded over the last 2 years. Fully serviced and set up and has been completely reliable. It was originally built in 1985 as a GP buggy and was submitted for an engineer's report in 1992 to assess it's suitability for road usage: "VW Beetle floorpan (suitably strengthened)” “substantial rollbar” and “built to a standard in excess of that required and is therefore certainly fit for it's purpose.” From then until 2013 the only history is some MoT records but then in 2013 the body was replaced with the current Volksrod. The history file is then very comprehensive with many invoices for work and new parts 2013-15 detailing a vast amount of rebuild/ restoration work covering chassis, brakes, suspension, seats, roll cage, harnesses and engine. From 2016 until I bought it in Nov 2023, it underwent annual MoT's (all passes with no advisories) and regular servicing.
