1967 TRIUMPH TR4A IRS - £29,950
A lovely example of the standard-setting TR4 A with the original and beautiful Michellotti-designed bodywork. These early cars are undoubtedly the purest and simple in the design of all the subsequent later TR models. Supplied in 1967 for the UK Rhd market and only 5 owners. Finished in Old English white with black interior she is also fitted with overdrive and independent rear suspension. She was restored by a Triumph specialist to a high standard and still presents today. There is a good history file with lots of invoices and constant maintenance inc Sports exhaust/Shock upgrade, elec fan etc. On the road, she is a quintessentially British sports car with a torquey engine and long gearing the overdrive making driving in modern traffic easy compared to lesser capable machines.
