This lot will be auctioned via Iconic Auctioneers, The Iconic Motorcycle Sale at the NEC Classic Motor Show 2025 on Sunday the 9th of November, NEC, Birmingham, B40 1NT. Sprite was a long established British builder of off-road motorcycles originating in Smethwick and then later in Halesowen Worcstershire. The bikes were available in kit form to avoid purchase tax with the sale slogan "Built by riders -for riders" Two variants were made, a trials bike and a scrambler, the trials bike had narrow parallel down tubes whereas the scrambler had splayed down tubes in order to house a remote oil tank in the frame This 1967 trials bike is fitted with a 244cc Villiers 2-stroke engine The bike is in 'barn find' condition and will need recommissioning, a great candidate for a classic trials restoration project Supplied with a UK registration document Offered with no reserve
