1971 Rolls Royce Phantom 6 Chassis number: PRH4641 Registration number: TNB996J Freshly re-painted in its original colour of Velvet Green; this Phantom 6 presents beautifully. Major bodywork was undertaken & all rust issues sorted prior to its repaint bringing it up to the standard we find it in today. This a car that has always been garaged & is in really really fine order underneath. It was ordered new for the Chairman of LLoyds bank in the corporate colours of dark green exterior & pale green interior. To the interior is the original pale green leather both front & rear extending also to the twin occasional seats that fold from the bulkhead. The leather is in very good order with a light patina of use. The beautiful burr walnut door cappings have been removed & refinished to a mirror like polish. The braking system has just been gone though with the servo being relined & rebuilt with new brake shoes also fitted all round. The engine & gear box are in good health with ample power & the ability to cruise all day at high speeds. Under the bonnet the car is similarly tidy & in good order. Indicated mileage is 73,764 miles. The radiator was removed, acid cleaned & back flushed with new hoses fitted resulting in a cool running car even then sitting in traffic for extended periods. An owners flag pennant post is fitted to the front of the car behind the spirit of ecstacy. The boot area is lined with new carpets in grey. All origial build records come with the car. The glass division glides up & down at the touch of a button. The centre mounted drinks cabinet has its original decanters & glasses present allowing for en route libations to be partaken of. All in all this is a lovely Phantom that has had considerable money spent upon it to keep it in tip top order under the current ownership. It drives beautifully & has a great sense of occasion when one arrives in it.
