PORSCHE 911 -991 - £110,000
This lot will be auctioned via Iconic Auctioneers, Online Auction - 12th June on Thursday the 12th of June. Back Ground: At the 2015 Geneva Motor Show, Porsche turned up the heat with the debut of the 911 GT3 RS — a track-focused monster engineered to blur the line between road car and race machine. Visually and mechanically more aggressive than its GT3 sibling, the RS wears its intent proudly: front fenders now sport functional louvers to reduce air pressure in the wheel arches, while the rear arches borrow their brawny air intakes straight from the 911 Turbo. A magnesium roof helps shave weight from the top of the car, lowering the center of gravity and dialing up agility. Inside, the cabin is stripped down. Carbon-fibre bucket seats inspired by the 918 Spyder, ultra-lightweight door pulls, and a standard Club Sport Package — complete with a bolted-in roll cage, six-point racing harness, and fire extinguisher — leave no doubt this car was built for the circuit. It’s no surprise Autocar crowned it one of Britain’s Best Driver’s Cars in 2014, even before its official public bow. Under the rear deck lid beats a larger heart: a naturally aspirated 4.0-litre flat-six replacing the GT3’s 3.8-litre unit. With 490 hp and 346 lb-ft of torque on tap, all channeled through a lightning-quick PDK transmission, the GT3 RS rockets from 0–100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds and hits 200 km/h in 10.9 Performance tech abounds — from rear-axle steering and Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus to a clever "paddle neutral" feature that mimics clutch disengagement for mid-corner antics, and a Pit Speed limiter for track-day discipline. On the Nürburgring Nordschleife, it clocked a scorching lap time of 7 minutes and 20 seconds. This isn’t just a 911 turned up to 11 — it’s a weapon forged for the tarmac, a statement of intent from Stuttgart that when it comes to the ultimate driver's car, the RS still reigns supreme. The Car: This example of Porsche’s finest track focused 911 is offered in superb condition, having covered just under 10,000 miles from new. Originally delivered new to Dubai, the car was then imported a year later in 2017, where it has since had two previous keepers. Presented in the eye-catching Lava Orange paint work and paired with black Alcantara and carbon trim. The cars condition correlates with the current milage, partially due to the car being covered in PPF film, which has done its job well and showing one small mark on the film on the bonnet. The interior shows minimal wear with all of the Alcantara in excellent condition and no signs of wear on any of the high traffic areas.
