Designed by Pininfarina and built at their factory in Italy, the 406 Coupe completely restyled the Saloon with all new body panels. This car has the top of the range 3 litre V6 giving brisk performance. It was bought new by my brother-in-law and has been continuously but sparingly used throughout its 27 year life having covered 75,600 miles. I acquired the vehicle from him in 2021, so just two family owners. There are 22 main dealer invoices on file for regular servicing, the last being a year ago at 74006 miles. All paperwork from the original bill of sale (and sales brochure) until the present day has been retained. The current MOT, with just one advisory for a minor oil leak, expires on 6 April 2026. There are two keys with the car plus handbook and service book fully stamped. Last year I had the timing belt and pulleys replaced plus water, pump, auxiliary belt, coil pack and lambda sensor. The latter two were in an attempt to cure an intermittent cold erratic running. It was finally solved with a new ambient temperature sensor. Also last year I had some paint rectification, full body detailing and refurbished alloys, except the spare which remains unused! There was and is no rust and, whilst not perfect, both inside and outside are in very good condition. The only issue I’m aware of is that the aircon doesn’t work. Also included is a rare collection of NOS spares (see photos) which were acquired from the supplying dealer when they went out of business. These cars are uncommon and often overlooked but offer excellent value for money with Ferrari-like looks (check the 456, designed by the same guy) without the costs! Viewing welcome.
