This model is relatively uncommon, with only 836 being sold in RHD in the UK and only a small number remaining in existence today. The engine and body numbers match. Over the years it has had: New plugs, distributor cap, points, rotor arm, spark leads, head gasket, valve seats, piston rings, timing chain, distributor, clutch, water pump, clutch master, brake master, front/rear brake pads/shoes, rear wheel bearings, battery, wheel refurb and new Blockley period correct tires. Many of the gaskets, seals and other bits I had to order from France. I replaced the rusty front subframe with a solid one, which was hard to find. The body has had significant welding over the years—inner wings, floor, and cills—with varying quality. Starting at the front, I've gradually had repairs carried out towards the rear. I believe the car is now structurally sound but still needs work on the rear valance and outer wheel arches. An electric thermostat cooling fan and fuel pump have been installed, and a K&N air filter gives the engine a deeper sound. I last used the car on the road over a year ago. The boot lid and rear valance require rust repairs or replacement, and there are areas of surface corrosion and bubbling paint evident in the photographs. The rear exhaust silencer also needs replacing soon. I have the original air cleaner, a cover for when the roof is down, and the door chrome strips. The canvas roof is worn, but I found a better replacement which is included in the sale. There is a quite a large digital history file for the car showing info about previous owners, build notes and photographs documenting the car in different stages of repair available for the new owner to carry on documenting the car for the future. I've loved driving this car, especially in the summer with the roof down. I'm selling it because I no longer have time to use it. The car is sold as seen no warranty or guarantee given or implied.
