NISSAN SKYLINE R32 GTR - £31,000

This lot will be auctioned via Iconic Auctioneers, Online Auction - 27th November on Thursday the 27th of November. Background:Launched in 1989, the R32-generation Nissan Skyline GT-R marked the return of the GT-R name after a 16-year hiatus. Designed with motorsport in mind, it featured the formidable 2.6-litre twin-turbocharged RB26DETT inline-six engine, coupled to a sophisticated all-wheel-drive system and advanced multi-link suspension. With over 280PS and impressive track pedigree, the R32 GT-R quickly gained a reputation as a technological tour de force, dominating Group A touring car championships and earning the nickname ‘Godzilla’ from the Australian motoring press. The Car:Imported and first registered in the UK in June 2006, this 1993 R32 GT-R is presented in white over a two-tone grey interior of cloth and synthetic suede. Now offered from six years’ current ownership, it shows 84,099km on the odometer at time of cataloguing, although this is not warranted. The car is accompanied by the V5C, a space-saver spare, parts invoices dating to 2011, and an old sales advert from 2013. One ignition key and remote are included. Riding on a set of 18-inch Volk Racing split-rim alloy wheels from RAYS, the car features gold Brembo brake calipers and Toyo Proxes Sport tyres. Notable equipment includes air conditioning, electrically adjustable mirrors and windows, and the original auxiliary dials for oil temperature, boost pressure and voltage. Interior additions include a Momo dished steering wheel and Sony Xplod CD stereo. This example benefits from a number of performance upgrades, including R34-generation N1 turbochargers, Yellow Speed coilovers, a full R34 Brembo brake conversion, an updated two-way LSD, HKS twin-plate clutch, Mines BX ECU, HKS SPF intake, Trust GReddy downpipe, long-nose crank, 5zigen exhaust and HKS mushroom filters. Visual updates include a carbon-fibre slam panel, Nismo-style front bumper ducts and rear spats, and a rear wiper delete. The factory instrument cluster has also been replaced with a Nismo 320km/h unit. Specific notes from the seller highlight minor stone chips to the front bumper. The car passed its most recent MOT in March 2025 at 83,568km, with no advisories recorded. A rare opportunity to acquire a well-presented and upgraded example of the iconic R32 GT-R, this car combines period-correct visual and mechanical enhancements with the raw character and road presence that define Nissan’s ‘Godzilla’. A compelling choice for collectors and enthusiasts alike. Location: West Midlands Seller: Private
