Built in 1995 but originally sold and used in Japan (one of the 1583 examples out of 1982 MG RV8s built), this 3.9-litre V8-engined MG RV8 was imported into the UK in 1999 and registered here in May of that year (with 13,800 miles on its odometer), since when it has had three registered keepers. Its odometer now shows 20,808 miles and its MoT is valid until April 2026. Electric power steering was fitted in 2018 at a cost of £1550. In 2019, there was a fully-documented engine rebuild at a cost of nearly £5000 due to overheating from a split hose. The speedometer marked in kilometres was left in place for its first MoT, enabling UK registration and was subsequently changed shortly afterwards to a UK speedo, hence the following year's MoT reading 00663 miles.
