1980 MG MIDGET 1500 SEBRING - £Auction
Vendor states: 1980 MG Sebring Midget 1500 Originally acquired on 25/08/2015 as a standard MG Midget 1500 with factory overdrive, showing 72,500 miles on the clock. The car had been off the road in dry storage for nine years prior to purchase. It was initially recommissioned with all new brake components and full service items, including fresh oils and coolant, before passing its MOT and being used for around six months. Between summer 2016 and May 2023, the car underwent an extensive restomod. Following repairs to the monocoque, a full Sebring-style body kit was fitted and bonded to the structure, then professionally painted and retrimmed. The car was reassembled with a host of new or reconditioned parts including: Clutch & master cylinders Driveshafts, springs & bushes Brake discs, calipers, shoes & pads New tyres New petrol tank & pump Oil filter, air filters & carburettor jets Returned to the road with a fresh MOT on 19/05/23, the vehicle is also covered by agreed value insurance of £25,000.
