This MGB was restored many years ago but shortly after all the work, the engine seized and it hasn't been unused since. 3 previous owners the original restoration included: front wings, front valence, sills, door skins, petrol tank, springs, shockers, king pins, o/s rear wing, hood, full respray. after all these years, the mg has now been re-commissioned including a fully rebuilt unleaded engine (costing £1386.00 + the engine with invoice & documentation) brakes overhaul - new calipers, master cylinder, wheel cylinders & hoses clutch master & slave cylinders & hose fuel tank chemically cleaned, new copper pipe, full set of braided fuel hoses, carbs cleaned, all water hoses, oil cooler & pipes, water pump. seats refurb, covers, foams, cards & diaphragms, all service items plus many other parts. The interior is good, the hood is in very good condition due to not being used. The paintwork looks very good in the photos but due to storage there are ‘storage injuries’, (scratches & dings etc). the tyres will need replacing but they are not expensive, (from £120 for 4) overall, this is a good useable car that has benefitted by all of the work that has been done which can either be enjoyed as it is or brought to the next level by the average classic car enthusiast. It’s not perfect but it's a good entry level example, with the added confidence that the engine work has been done. even though an mot is not required for this age of car, I would recommend that one is done before being used for safety and peace of mind, as it has not had one for many years.
