MG A Roadster 1960. I have owned the car for 25 years and during that time everything has been completely overhauled with some modification. The car has always been garaged in my ownership including a recent proper respray with wings, doors etc off the car. The engine is the 1588cc version (the most desirable) and is Fully balanced with large valve Gas flowed cylinder head, Webber 45DCOE Twin-Choke carb and inlet manifold and three branch stainless steel exhaust system. The car is fitted with a 5-speed gearbox conversion which completely transforms the driveability in modern traffic. The engine runs superbly and pulls evenly throughout the speed ranges. Other modifications include uprated suspension and brakes, M1144 Pads. 72 Spoke MG C chrome wire wheels with Avon CR 6ZZ tyres making for excellent road handling and road holding. Everything works just as it should do. The Hood provides excellent all-weather protection. The car is in excellent body and mechanical condition, and it should need little or no further work other than routine maintenance for many years. I am now 80 years of age and I’m afraid it is time for a new home for this lovely car.
