1960 MG A 1622 - £22,250
This is a very original and solid example, with matching numbers and only 6 owners in 64 years. It is believed that the car was restored in the late 1980s and has travelled around 10,000 miles since, including trips to Europe. I acquired the car a little less than 4 years ago, but for numerous reasons have not driven more than 1000 miles, it has only been out in the dry and has been kept in an air chamber to maintain it's condition. It is great fun to drive and is in particularly good condition, although not concours. The previous owner carried out a light restoration, mainly relating to mechanical items. Hydraulic seals, rubber bushes, rear springs, hood and seats have all received attention. The gearbox has been upgraded to a 5 speed version to better cater for todays traffic requirements. Although not required the car has a current MoT certificate and an insurance valuation of £28,000.
