I've owned and enjoyed this for a little over three years. Literal blood, sweat and tears, not to mention a lot of time have gone in to making this car what it is today and it has been fully recommissioned. Works that have been completed in my ownership alone include: - New rocker cover gasket, and front upper timing gasket. - New water pump, 82 degree thermostat, belt. (The pump was noisy). - New spark plugs, HT leads, coil, distributor cap, distributor arm and cover. - Complete suspension overhaul - it now sits the same height as a sport line variant and handles like a W124 should. - New custom stainless exhaust system. (By Custom Chrome in Nuneaton at a cost of £1000). - New fan clutch. - Cruise control overhaul. - LED lights all round - for those who like driving by candle light this is fully reversible. - New fuel level sender. - New headlight control switch and both headlight lenses replaced - one was badly chipped. - New tail light lenses, new front and side, clear, indicators. - Retrofitted photo chromatic rear view mirror. - Front and rear dash cam. - New outside temperature display - not OEM but I would call it OE+. - Fog lights have been wired to function as DRLs and as factory intended. - W203 6-spoke 17" alloys in satin black. - Fully resprayed last year to a good standard, the roof and rear number plate recess are now Gloss Black. Window trims are Satin Black. All of this work has gone in to it and the car has been used almost as much as my workhorse, gaining about 10,000 miles in my ownership. I am more than happy to potter round town, or go on long journeys. As such this is not a showroom or garage princess, there are imperfections.
