The Mercedes-Benz 300 SL is a timeless classic from the R107 series, blending elegance with performance. Our vendor purchased this 300 SL around six years ago and has enjoyed it as a weekend car during that time. It's presented in quite a rare shade of Nautical Blue Metallic with the highly desirable navy/checked cloth interior, both of which are well presented, but the hood has a small tear on the driver's side seam and the dash has a few small cracks however, the overall condition is commensurate to the mileage of the car. The head was rebuilt in 2015 along with a new water pump and head gasket, the door seals and hard top seals were replaced in 2018, subframe bushes were replaced in 2019 along with a new alternator. The history file contains a record of plenty of maintenance in recent years, many parts have been replaced and we are told the car is a joy to drive. Supplied to auction with an MoT test certificate valid until September 2026, a V5C registration document and aforementioned maintenance records, this looks like an excellent SL and is offered excitingly without reserve.
