1961 Lotus Elite type 14 Series 2. Special equipment with original 1216cc engine, twin SU carbs, 4 branch manifold and ZF gearbox. Built by Lotus cars and supplied by Chequered Flag. Chrome wire wheels fitted with a set of new Pirelli Cinturato tyres. Adjustable Spax shock absorbers front and back recently fitted plus new electric fan and fuel pump. Red leather interior and original instrumentation. Stainless steel exhaust. Original registration. This car was the subject of an older restoration to it's original specification by the previous owner who also owned the car in 1962. It shows an acceptable patina whilst being a stunning show car which drives superbly. This iconic car is superb piece of racing history and innovative design from Lotus with it's fibreglass monocoque and simple mechanicals. It is a pleasure to drive and draws attention wherever you go.
