The Laverda 750 was manufactured between 1966 and 1975 and was Laverda’s attempt to take on the Japanese twin market The 750 SF (Super Freni) was introduced in 1970 and featured a twin-leading-shoe front brake, an upgraded clutch, lightened crankshaft and a reworked frame It was powered by a 744cc, four-stroke, SOHC parallel-twin offering 65bhp and 115mph Distributed in the UK through Slater Brothers and imported in kit form to avoid paying purchase tax This matching numbers example is presented in very good overall condition and in running order Restored by John Mossey in circa 2012 to a very high standard, invoices included totalling over £15,000 UK registered in 1990 and same owner for last 20 years Fitted with an electronic ignition system Complete with large history file with numerous receipts, old MOTs, Laverda Club info, old tax discs, owners manual, old photos, other associated paperwork and two keys In running order but not used on the road for last couple of years so may require some basic recommissioning before use Great example of this Italian classic UK-registered on a current V5C
