Lot 132, Guide price: £7,500 to £10,000 Kawasaki Z1300 1972 offered for sale, in blue. The engine has been bored out to 1400cc using the Wisco Big Bore kit and the engine has been gas flowed. The inlet manifold is drilled for Nitrous but the vendor had to remove it and blank the inlets to get insurance. The carb box has been removed and replaced with K&N filter pods and the engine breather has been replaced with a custom filter. The cam chain tensioner (that tend to fail on these bikes) has been replaced with an uprated one. The bike has, a custom hydraulic clutch, a custom side-stand, an adjustable monoshock suspension, a custom hugger front mudguard, a Billet OIL temperature gauge (in place of the oil filler cap), and an upgraded/polished brake & clutch reservoirs. The coils have been uprated to Dyna coils and the whole engine was re-sprayed (when it was in pieces – you see a lot of these sprayed as a single unit but this means all the gasket lines are still perfect). The battery was replaced with a high capacity gel battery that fits in a custom box underneath the seat and the seat has been reduced in length. The wheels and running gear have been changed to those from a BMW R1100S with custom wheel paintwork and the rear BMW based swing arm has been custom machined and has a custom torsion control. The bike has a really FAT 160 rear tyre (both tires have good tread) and the brakes were changed to Brembo/Tokico brakes. The headlight was changed to a large round type and the speedo replaced by an Acewell digital speedo. The entire front end is custom with Aluminum slab yokes and inverse front suspension from a R1. The tank has had twin Aircraft fillers fitted and the original sump has been replaced by a later model high capacity sump to ensure good oil flow. The bike has braided brake cables and there is a wrap around custom 6 into 2 exhaust. The bike has had full custom paintwork (Frame & Engine numbers all visible and match documentation). The bike also has a 6 digit number plate. Note: This description is provided by the vendor and unless otherwise stated is 'Not Verified' by Barons or any person employed by Barons.
