Clothed in a beautiful Italian body and powered by US V8 muscle, this was a car capable of trading punches with the cream of the supercar crop. Roll forward 60 years, and the beauty of the Jensen Interceptor has continued to gather admiration and Kudos. JIA’s passion for the Interceptor has created a modern interpretation of this elegant, purposeful GT. Stripped on a rotisserie, subtly restyled to look oven more powerful, the JIA Interceptor R is more than skin deep. Revised suspension and steering geometry, bespoke independent rear suspension, much needed even with a Limited slip differential, in getting the power through the wheels and onto the black stuff, as the V8 engine unleashes 430 BHP and instant torque from its 6.2 litre V8 engine. The six speed electronically controlled automatic gearbox, gives a range of ratios, to compliment the engines broad power range, and delivers around 25mpg on a run. Bridge of Weir leather quilted and in two tone Mocha over cream, matching Wilton carpets, bespoke R dashboard cockpit, with beautifully turned switchgear, just adds to the feeling of quality and styling cues.
