NOW RESERVED - Rarely seen offered on the open market, 1 of the last 50 E Type Commemoratives produced, marking the end of production in 1974. This being a manual gearbox version with factory hard top makes it super desirable. Been in the hands of just 4 owners since new, the current for 23 years, and maintained to perfection throughout that period. Carefully filed documentation going back over 40 years, along with concours wins and trophies substantiates the history and pedigree of the car. Originally supplied by Stevensons of Tonbridge Wells, registered 1/8/74, and still retains the original dealership tax disc holder, along with much other period history. The car passed to the second keeper in 1979, having covered 47k miles, remained with the next owner for 10 years, covering 10k miles during his ownership. The next covered just 2k miles over 9 years before passing to the current keeper at 59k miles in 1998. The car underwent a comprehensive engine rebuild and full body restoration with Milford Engineering in 2010 at 82k miles. Complete detailed invoicing is on file including digital CD photographs. An agreed insurance valuation for 200k is currently in place. Specification and desirable upgrades includes stainless wire wheels, stainless exhaust, stainless braided brake hoses, mohair hood and tonneau, static fuel pumps, aluminium radiator and ignition system upgrade. The original factory handbook pack accompanies with Heritage Certificate and 3 sets of keys. The history file takes one an evening to get through properly, and includes correspondence with Jaguar dating back to 1979. Being an original factory manual Commemorative with hardtop and matching numbers puts this car right to the top of the Jaguar tree ! Surely one of the most desirable and special E types to own today.
