The Solex motorised bicycle was conceived during World War II and marketed in 1946, with 8 million being sold between 1946 and 1988 It became the staple diet for French teenagers and could be found in every village and town It lived on for almost two decades as a licensed design produced in China and in Hungary by Impex using the original tooling  The S 3800 model is a later version of the original VeloSoleX, with a 49cc engine and a top speed of around 20 mph.  This, one-owner example, is presented in very original condition Purchased new on the Kings Road in London in 1972 Recently recommissioned and in running order Currently not UK-registered as it has been off the road since the early 1980s Being offered with No Reserve Very rare to find such an original example and not rusty.
