After covering less than 70 miles in two years, I’ve come to the realisation that I don’t seem to have time for a classic car. I bought this lovey Super Snipe after the owner sadly passed away in 2023. I had an MoT test on her, had her serviced and parked her in a local classic car storage facility. She was then driven once a week on private land until April 2024 when I paid a garage to collect her and take her for a full service and annual check. She was then returned to storage. I have replaced the starter solenoid and the battery leads and a few other small things. She starts and drives lovely and really deserves to be used, especially at this time of year. I am the 4th owner, the previous owner having her since 1987. I have MoT certificates going back to that year. I saw this car around two years before I bought it. It was travelling on a duel carriageway and I knew I wanted it. Fast forward a couple of years and I went to see a Sceptre that had been advertised locally. Tucked in behind this car the Black Super Snipe I’d seen previously. I had to have it!
