Built between 1980 and 1984, they were recognised as very sporty lightweights, with a revvy 26bhp, 249cc engine and great handling Popular with couriers in the 1980s and consequently very few good ones survive today This, one-owner example, has only covered 673 miles from new and is in superb original condition all-round, a real time-warp bike Purchased new from Frettons of Coventry on 31st March 1980, the bike had covered a mere 492 miles by its first MOT and then just another 186 miles before being carefully stored away Still in the same family and supplied with its V5C (showing two owners as the bike was registered to the dealer first), the original sales invoice, and the first and only MOT from 1984 The engine turns freely, but no attempt has been made to start it and it will require recommissioning before use
