Fiat Coupe 20v Turbo – recommission project. Please note that my Coupe needs a new home further to it being sat on my drive for the last few years. Unfortunately, I have been occupied with other projects around the home and just not had the chance to get her back on the road where she should be. Please note that the MoT expired back in 2018 as it failed on a couple of brake pipes that needed replacing and I have simply not got round to it. It was SORN on the 1st of May 2018. I am the third owner of the car since helping a friend of mine look after her when he bought it from the lady who had bought it new. I then bought it off him as I knew the history and condition of it. I have owned it since 2008. I have the original service history from the first owner including the original purchase receipt and related car literature. I also have the original service tools that come with the car and the Red key. It has always been run with Fiat Selenia 20K oil and Power Italia (Essex) have serviced the car in the past including: New rad and header tank, hand brake cables. At 57k miles (now 71k): Full cambelt change with water pump, tensioners and Aux belts. Coolant and brake fluid change. New Master cylinder. Falken tyres all round. Obviously, the paint (lacquer) has come away on the roof, bonnet and door but overall, the metal work is in excellent condition. The engine has not turned over for several years and will need to be recommissioned before doing so to avoid causing any damage to it. Obviously the same with the fuel system as you don’t want to pump old fuel into the injectors. The engine used to run perfectly as you would expect with 71k miles with no smoke being emitted. The car is totally standard apart from a stainless steel exhaust my friend fitted as it was cheaper than a Fiat one. Obviously, it will need winching off the drive and recommissioned completely before trying to start the engine. Please call for any further information or pics. Thanks, Nick
