Background:Originally completed in 1973, this car was taken straight from the showroom in Oklahoma and converted for SCCA competition. It quickly became a force to be reckoned with on the Midwest racing scene, achieving numerous wins and establishing itself as a front-running contender. By the early 1980s, it had moved to California where it was upgraded to GT2 specification. Throughout the 1980s and 1990s, the car remained highly competitive, consistently qualifying on pole and securing podium positions. Development continued within GT2 regulations, including the installation of a 2.8-litre engine positioned further back in the chassis, fully adjustable wishbone suspension, and a strengthened braking system. The Car:Imported to the UK in 2015, the car underwent a complete restoration in which every component was either rebuilt or replaced.
