While this Datsun 240Z dates from 1972, it was only imported into the UK from California in 2013, and British-registered in November 2020 by the vendor (hence why the V5C shows just one owner). It received a full bare metal respray in 2017; the vendor tells us that it was 99 per cent rust free prior to its repaint. Its odometer shows 49,976 miles; there's no record of an MoT since import but as an historic vehicle, it no longer requires annual testing. The car features triple twin-choke Mikuni carburettors, K&N air filters, six-branch manifold, and rear disc brake conversion, The brakes have been fully serviced including new front calipers and handbrake cables. We're told that there are many other new and old stock Datsun parts on the car, with a previous owner reputedly fitting a performance high-lift camshaft. The car runs and drives although the vendor notes that the five-speed gearbox can sometimes slip out of gear in reverse, but can be held in place. Paperwork includes the V5C, dating letter from The Z Club, owner's handbook, air conditioning instructions, some UK and US invoices, original bill of sale and the Datsun warranty card showing that the original owner was apparently called Batman.   Not specified
