Triumph T140V Bonneville, 1976 model. Bought as an ongoing project, I've owned this Bonnie since 2016 and made some nice updates along the way. The bike has always ran reliably, came with a good history and has electronic ignition, primary belt and clutch conversion. In my ownership the front end has been rebuilt with progressive springs, new stanchions and all new brake parts. I've also fitted the Norton style exhaust pipes and a brand new old stock US style tank, which I had custom painted in Light Blue and Old English White, with a sparkle in the lacquer that looks brilliant in the sunshine. The carbs have been ultrasonically cleaned and have all the latest updates, but are original. The tick over has always been temperamental however but when riding the bike pulls nice and cleanly. I would describe the bike more a survivor than a restoration but it is in excellent condition for it's age and mileage shown on the speedo. I'm only looking to sell as I just don't ride it that much of late so would make someone an ideal project to take to the next level, or someone looking for a good usable classic. The bike is matching numbers, comes with original cast wheels that would have been an expensive option from new. I know everyone wants spokes these days but these are of the era and look great on the bike. Tyres are new Avon RoadRiders. I have the original UK style tank and cigar silencers which will go with the bike, but it looks and sounds much better with the custom tank and Norton style pipes fitted.
