The most mass-produced motorcycle of WW2 with a total of 126,000 bikes built by BSA for the British Army, Royal Navy and Royal Air Force Being easy to maintain with a very reliable 496cc side-valve engine made the WM20 a popular and successful war machine Many bikes survived with most being 'civilianised' after the war to satisfy the demand for transport post-WW2 This early and very original example has been very well restored and is presented in running order Being an early model, it's fitted with rubber grips and a large, frame-mounted side-stand Complete with VMCC authenticity letter and a copy of the original military production record Also included in the history file are some old receipts, previous correspondence and associated paperwork Great piece of military history and suitable for numerous WW2 gatherings UK-registered on a current V5C
