I have owned this very original Mauritius Blue BMW convertible since purchasing it from Classic Chrome in 2009 at which time it had a mileage of 120,000 miles. The mileage is now 153,600. The car has had 5 former keepers. Kept garaged and professionally/specialist maintained it has a very comprehensive history with invoices for works done and MoT’s. The car also has it’s original wallet of documents which includes a stamped service record. It has a valid MoT until January 2026 with no advisories. The car had some professional remedial paint work done in the original colour in 2011 and a new hood, motor and webbings courtesy of CE Moore Coachtrimmers Ltd in 2013. CE Moore have at my request also carried out a service on the roof operation mechanisms in February 2025 to ensure that it is in excellent working order prior to sale. The rear shock absorbers and top mounts have also been replaced this March 2025 despite this not having been an issue at the MoT. A new Cat 2 Thatcham approved transponder immobiliser was fitted in 2021 and a full conductor board rebuild of the original unit was done in 2023. The car has been garaged and aside from some trips to France in the early years of my having it it has had little use. Despite this it has been diligently maintained. Interim service May 2021 at which time mileage was 151,586. Full service in May 2023 at which time the mileage was 152,823. Further service on 10 December 2024 at which time the mileage was 153,435. In 2022 a new radiator with expansion tank and new cap was fitted. Driver seat bolster professionally reupholstered in 2024. Heater blower motor replaced this year. The original alloy wheels have been refurbished and they come with the correct ‘waffle’ centre caps. The car is in lovely original spec condition and is frequently complimented by both garages and passers by. It is a joy to drive.
