This gorgeous Austin Healey 100 ‘four’ was sold new in the Netherlands where it still resides. The original owner must have received al lot of attention from passers-by in those days because exotic sports cars were sparse in the ‘lower countries. The Healey 100 is one of the most handsome British sportscars ever and it was presented on the 1952 ‘Earls Court’ Motor Show in London. The presented car is a BN2 model with the 1955 improvements like better brakes and rear-axle and a four-speed gearbox with overdrive replacing the three-speed unit of the BN1. This Austin Healey was extensively restored in the period 1990-1995 and was rarely driven ever since. The car was restored to original factory specifications, and the car shows wonderful original details. This ‘Big Healey’ is in a wonderful and very good condition showing only slight traces of use. The big 2600 cc four-cylinder engine is very powerful, and it gives the 100/4 a rugged character.
