During its long existence, Alfa Romeo has always offered sports models, ranging from small bombs to modest displacement, six-cylinder roaring like a Ferrari engine half. Thus, the current sports range of Alfa range from the new generation Spider (2.2 to 3.2 liters), the fantastic C8 Competizione supercar, through the sublime Brera, using the same engines as the Spider. The first Spider succeeded the Giulietta and Giulia spider. Delivered with two engines (1600 and 2000 cc), the first of the name was warmly welcomed: its line signed Pininfarina was a model of balance, with its small grille typical of the brand and a sublime profile.
