This superb looking evocation of a 356 is a bespoke build. Built in France over a five-year period a fibreglass body was fitted which is in good order and is painted in a fantastic colour and benefits from a bespoke interior featuring bucket style seats, a Tag Heuer clock dial, and leather in abundance. Fitted with a 2.3 litre fuel injected Volkswagen Beetle engine and Beetle gearbox this example sounds fantastic and is very quick! Also fitted with disc brakes all-round the evocation is finished off with its Fuchs style replica wheels, the retro styling makes this example a real head turner and a favourite amongst the current vendors significant private collection. In very good condition throughout it sounds fantastic when on song and drives very well indeed. This vehicle is registered with the DVLA as a 1961 Porsche, however, interested partes should note that this is an evocation/replica and was more recently built in France. Offered with its current V5 registration document, photos and sundry bills, this is a very good-looking example and is an opportunity not to be missed. Consigned by Daniel Godin

Interested parties should note that this vehicle has been extensively modified. The vehicle is registered by the DVLA as a Porsche. We have also noticed that the bonnet catch has broken and will need to be repaired or replaced by the new owner. It has been part of a private collection and was driven to the auction venue by its current owner.
