This ‘decorated’ Ford Cortina MkI was something of a local legend in South London through to the mid-Nineties. It was in daily use, covered in slogans from the owner's children who were teenagers at the time, and was a common sight until its sudden disappearance from the roads in 1996, Its fate was unknown until now. The car was driven into a garage and left. The car is complete - as it was left nearly 30 years ago complete with belongings inside. While the car dates from 1965, it was imported into the UK in 1980 and registered here in December of that year, hence its ‘W’ numberplate. The odometer shows 80,274 miles.
